The
illustrated parabaik contain illustrations of Myanmar
King's palaces from King Thaton Manuha's palace to King
Mindon's palace. The old Myanmar city and palace plans
in the parabaik can be viewed according to the respective

The Golden
Capital and Golden Palace plans of ancestors must be
referred to , and submitted to the King and placed at
the Inner court. In accordance with Buddha's prophecy,
Mahaminhlathihathu, Wun-dauk (assistant Minister) and
Dain-Wun (officer of shields) supervised the construction
of the Maha Amarapura Golden Capital in cooperation
with the artists so that posterity could see the palace.

Golden Capital, where King Badon resided in 1144 Myanmar
Era (AD 1782) on the auspicious occasion; drums of the
12 city gates; Dhat-drum; the Royal Bell; the Watch
tower of a palace ; Foundation stakes for the palace
where King Thalun resided in 996 Myanmar era; Foundation
stakes for the palace in Radanatheinga, where the great
grandfather King Alaungmintaya resided in 1115 Myanmar
Era (AD 1752).
Foundation stakes for the palace in
Sagaing,where King Naungdawgyi resided in 1123 Myanmar
Era ( AD 1761). Foundation stakes for the palace in
Radanapura Innwa, where King Sinbyushin resided in 1127
( AD 1765) ;the palace at Mingun ; The Maze palace;
the Sudhamma rest house in front of the Manaungradana
pogoda ; Foundation stakes for the palace in Radanapura
Inwa, where King Bagyidaw resided; Shwe Taik (Treasury);
the Watch Tower ; the Water palace; foundation stakes
for temporary monastery; foundation stakes for the palace
in Amarapura, where King Tharrawaddy, the founder of
the second capital and the possessor of white elephants,
resided in 1200 (1838).
