MINDON ( 1853-1878 ) |
The Royal Capital of Radanabon, which is well-known
as Mandalay,was founded by King Mindon in 1853. Several
historical documents regarding the establishment of
King Mindon's Mandalay still survive.These are:

The temporary palace built in the Mandalay Radanarbon
Palace enclosure on Saturday ,the 5th waning day of
Ta-baung ,1218 Myanmar Era ( 14 March 1857 ).
